Rallycross – François Duval lined up for the World Cup in Belgium

The former Belgian rally hopeful will make his return to the forefront in World RX, during the round organized in Belgium on July 12 and 13 in Mettet. It is on a 600 hp Volkswagen Polo RX Supercar from the Marklund Motorsport team that François Duval will compete against the drivers of the new FIA World Championship. At the same time, he will find well-known faces like Petter Solberg, first winner this season in Portugal. “With my loyal partners, we have been working on this project for some time now and I am very happy that the Belgian VW Club was able to give the necessary help to make this operation happen. A priori, the car is efficient and I will therefore aim for a good result. » declares the former Citroën driver in rally.

Le rallycross will not be a discovery for the Belgian, already winner of a round of the European Championship in 2010 in Maasmechelen already in Belgium. The 2014 event will take place just 50 km from his home. By then, Duval will have taken charge of his future mount during a test session on May 27.
