Rallycross: the champions are known

Steven Bossard and Marc Morize, champions of Division 1A and D3 respectively, were already assured of the title before the final round in Dreux, so much so that Steven Bossard even let his opponents fight without him. The rule of counting the worst result disrupted the end of the championship, since two other drivers were also assured of the supreme reward, Davy Jeanney in D1 and Maximilien Eveno in Logan Cup. Finally, only David Vincent secured his crown this weekend, in Dreux, in D4.

However, the latter had a very bad weekend, having only qualified for the B final of D4, the A final having been won by Yvonnick Jagu (Audi A3 F2000). Despite this disappointment, David Vincent (Renault Clio II RS Maxi F 2000) grabbed the few points missing to secure the title and win the FFSA.tv Trophy. For his part, Maximilien Eveno, in the Logan Cup Rallycross, honored the award by winning the last A final of the year, ahead of Xavier Briffaut.

In D1, Davy Jeanney (Citroën Xsara?WRC?) was assured of the title, arriving in Dreux without pressure. The 23-year-old driver only grabbed a few points, failing in the B final, the A final being won by Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Citroën C4?WRC?), ahead of David Meslier (Renault Clio III RS?WRC?). In D3, Marc Morize, also titled, managed to reach the A final in Dreux.

Steven Bossard, titled two meetings ago, did not run in Dreux. In D2, it was David Olivier (Renault Logan) who won the last final of the year, ahead of Adeline Sangnier (Citroën Saxo S1600).
