RallycrossRX – Lukas Walfridson will debut in Worlds in 2014

After three seasons spent scouring the Crosskart tracks, 20-year-old Swede Lukas Walfridson will be entered in six rounds in RallycrossRX, five in the EuroRX Championship, and one in World RallycrossRX at Höljes in Sweden (July 5-6). It's at the wheel of a Renault Clio Supercar fielded by Swedish team Helmia Motorsport which Walfridson will make its world debut. We will find him at European level from the British round of Lydden Hill (May 24-25), then at Hell (Norway, June 14-15). The events of Mettet (Belgium, July 12-13), Buxtehude (Germany, September 20-21) and finally Franciacorta (Italy, September 27-28) will also be included in its program.

“Our goal is to finish in the top three in Euro RX at the end of the year. This is my only goal and with my team, I will strive to achieve it. » explains the nephew of Stig-Olov and Per-Enge Walfridson, former European champion of Rallycross.

The first round of the World RallycrossRX Championship will take place in Portugal, in Montalegre, on May 3 and 4.
