Ramona Karlsson with Henning Solberg in Rallycross RX

At 33, Ramona Karlsson is preparing to make her debut in Rallycross by engaging directly at the global level. After starting with the Swedish Crosskart Championship which she won twice, the Per Eklund Motorsport recruit headed to the rally where she notably competed in six PWRC events in 2012. She will be the only one to drive a Saab this year with Henning Solberg with whom she will share the wheel for at least seven rounds on her program at the moment.

The Scandinave will begin its program in Montalegre (Portugal) on May 3 and 4 where the season will begin. “It’s great to be able to work with a driver of Per Eklund’s caliber”, commented Ramona Karlsson. “The team has a lot of experience and I am excited to race in the Supercar category which has the most successful rallycross cars.
