Titans RX – Heikkinen floats at Lydden Hill

Toomas Heikkinen took his second victory of the season in Titans RX by winning the first final of the weekend at Lydden Hill (Great Britain). The first race was contested in particularly rainy conditions contrasting with the blazing sun in Essay (Orne). The wet track notably trapped Nelson Piquet Jr who was in the lead at the end of the qualifying heats before ending up in the tire wall in the semi-finals.

The Hansen brothers were again the main opponents of Toomas Heikkinen and completed the podium in the first race. The youngest Kevin was put under pressure by Oliver Webb who made a very promising debut at the wheel of the Pantera RX6.

Jérôme Grosset-Janin has not been varnished. Victim on several occasions of missed starts, the former resident of the GC Kompetition during the second start of his semi-final and finished last classified in his race.
