World RX – Andreas Bakkerud refines “the final details” for 2018

Resident of the Hoonigan Racing Division for the last two seasons, Andreas Bakkerud has not yet officially revealed his program for the 2018 season. The Norwegian, third in the World Championship Rallycross with its Ford Focus RS RX, wants to continue on the world stage.

“My priority is my 2018 World RX program and we have just spent a month ironing out the last details, admits the one who will treat himself to a new experience this weekend at Andros Trophy.

Bakkerud will indeed evolve on the Renault Captur of DA Racing on the ice of Andorra. “This time on the ice will allow me to have a little fun during this period of intense work. I'm looking forward to competing in the Andros Trophy in Andorra, it's a series I've followed closely for many years.

I warmly thank “JB” Dubourg and DA Racing for giving me the chance to participate in a Trophy contested by many renowned drivers.

Snow and ice are typical Scandinavian conditions, but I have never been the “full” slide rider, I will have to learn this very special technique. It is above all a moment of pure pleasure, I am not setting myself any objective in terms of results, I am going to take advantage of it to perfect my driving and above all, have a good time. »
