World RX - Anton Marklund joins EKS

Anton Marklund will continue his career in World RX by integrating the EKS structure after having evolved within the family structure.

EKS has confirmed Anton Marklund as Mattias Ekström's World RX teammate. The Swede will drive the Audi S1 EKS RX after having evolved last year within his family structure, Marklund Motorsport, with which he finished in sixth place in the Championship in the Volkswagen Polo Supercar.

“Mattias and EKS offer me a wonderful opportunity to fight for the best results in 2015 and to develop at all levels in my professional career,” commented Anton Marklund. “Mattias became a friend in 2013 during the X-Games in Munich (Germany). It has already helped me a lot and I am proud to join the EKS family. »

Anton Marklund will also be present on the circuits since he will participate in the Audi Sport TT Cup contested as part of the meetings of the DTM.
