A flawless one. The weekend of Andreas Bakkerud on its home meeting in Hell was perfect, with four victories in four qualifying rounds (a first), before unchallenged domination in the semi-final and the final.
With a Ford Focus RS RX from the Hoonigan Racing Division finally at the level of its rivals Peugeot 208 RX, Audi S1 and Citroën DS3, the Norwegian Bakkerud leads in the final confrontation Timmy Hansen (Team Peugeot-Hansen) and Mattias Ekström (Audi S1 – EKS RX).
Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3 – PSRX) and Sébastien Loeb (Team Peugeot-Hansen) follow in the standings ahead of Timur Timerzyanov (Ford Fiesta – World RX Team Austria). Note that in Euro RX, Kevin Hansen (Peugeot 208 RX) won the event ahead of Tord Linnerud and Tamas-Pal Kiss in the final. Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Peugeot 208) took fifth place in the final.
