World RX – Jeanney returns to Estering

Davy Jeanney will be back in World RX this weekend in Estering (Germany) by being entered in the Peugeot 208 WRX from Team DA Racing usually driven by Jean-Baptiste Dubourg. The former Team Peugeot-Hansen driver is thus taking advantage of the absence of the reigning champion of Andros Trophy held back by the birth of her first child.

“What a pleasure to return to the paddock of the FIA World Championship Rallycross ! I would like to sincerely thank Dominique Dubourg (the director of the eponymous team) for this opportunity., comments Davy Jeanney. I never imagined I would participate in a round of World RX this season! It's never easy to enter a race in a championship at the end of the season, but I will have the advantage of arriving in an environment that I know well with the 208 WRX of Team DA Racing, which is almost the same one that I drove in the Peugeot-Hansen team. »

Davy Jeanney will also have the advantage of knowing the Estering track since he won there in 2015 with the Sochaux manufacturer.

“Estering is a circuit that I have always appreciated, it is a very technical track with little grip, which perfectly evens out the differences in engine power, specifies Davy Jeanney. The key point here is the first corner, which is always very hot. A qualification in the semi-finals would be the best way to thank Team DA-Racing for this opportunity, but I have noticed on different occasions this year that the level has increased considerably in World RX. »
