World RX – Kristoffersson set a record at Lohéac

If Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot ) dominated the first day of World RX in Lohéac (Ille-et-Vilaine), that’s good Johan Kristoffersson who once again won in the final by dominating the race and ahead of the resident of Team Peugeot-Hansen.

“I really have complete confidence with the car, recognized Johan Kristoffersson. The weather was on my side (with the rain coming on Sunday September 3) and I had the chance to benefit from the experience of my teammate Petter. His information was invaluable. It's always easier when two drivers help each other and the cohesion within the PSRX Volkswagen Sweden is invaluable. »

Johan Kristoffersson became the only World RX driver to win four times in a row. The Swede also set another record by landing his 8th consecutive podium. With a lead of 46 points over his teammate Petter Solberg with three rounds remaining in the season, the Scandinavian is getting closer to a first world title. PSRX Team Sweden also has an insolent lead in the Teams ranking with 108 units ahead of Team Peugeot-Hansen.
