World RX – The entry list for Montalegre and Hockenheim is growing

The World Championship Media Day Rallycross was held yesterday in Barcelona, ​​Spain, the city which will host the World RX on September 18 and 20. On the sidelines of this event, the entry lists for the first two events of the season at Montalegre (April 24-26) and Hockenheim (May 1-3), are starting to expand in addition to the regular drivers registered in World RX in 2015. In Portugal, the two Lusitanian pilots Joaquim Santos (Ford Focus) and Mario Barbosa (Citroën DS3) will be part of it.

It is on the side of JRM Racing and the Minis that we must look for the novelty for Hockenheim with the presence of the Americans Dave Mirra and Danny Way behind the wheel of the Clubman RX. Another representative of the star-spangled banner, Tanner Foust, will be aligned with a Marklund Motorsport Volkswagen Polo. At EKSRX, the Swede Mattias Ekström, engaged in DTM the same weekend on the same route, will be replaced by his compatriot Edward Sandstrom who will support Anton Marklund on the Audi S1.
