World RX – Renault Megane RS RX – GCK livery revealed

Appeared in action at the Silverstone tests in a temporary camouflage livery, the Renault Megane RS RX – GCK has finally put on its finery for the 2018 World RX.

The two frames entrusted to the French duo Guerlain Chicherit – Jérôme Grosset-Janin, will feature black, gray and orange as the main colors, with a “torn” effect running from the doors to the roof.

The reveal of the livery of the cars developed by the British entity Prodrive was carried out at the Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde in Paris. “There is still a lot of work to do, we are still developing the Megane RS RX but I am excited, admits Chicherit.

I have a great team with Prodrive and GCK around me to really push me, and hopefully the car, to the limit this season. »

Prodrive's Director of Motorsport Management, John Gaw, explains that the car offered a challenge to the British teams, who were able to find numerous innovations. “Since I've been at Prodrive, I've never seen so much excitement about a new car.

The design team thought of every aspect and introduced ideas never before seen in motorsport. I really believe that the Megane will be a game changer in RX. »

First elements of response in a little over a week for the opening of the season on the Catalan track in Barcelona.
