For its first visit to the United States, the World Championship of Rallycross will travel to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on September 29 and 30. A track already hosting the World Championship F1, and which also saw the prototypes and GT of the WEC.
The organizers of World RX yesterday revealed the route which will be used by the Supercars. Designed using turns 12 and 15 of the permanent track, in the stadium area after the long return straight, the circuit will offer a wild card lap resembling that of Hell in Norway.
812 m long, the RX circuit will be made up of nine turns and will offer a 60% asphalt/40% dirt mix.
