World RX – DA Racing in high gear in 2017

The DA Racing season will revolve around World RX this season. Dominique Dubourg's team has indeed chosen to concentrate its efforts on the FIA events in 2017, and in particular the world section.

For this program, two Peugeot 208 RX 2015, champions in 2015 with Team Peugeot-Hansen, were acquired for a complete program. Jean-Baptiste Dubourg, the team's leading driver, tells us in issue 2095 of AUTOhebdo, available in digital version and from tomorrow on newsstands, the objective will be to aim for at least a podium.

DA Racing will also be able to count on its DS3 RX for Euro RX, which may also be available to compete in World RX. “The ambition of DA Racing is simple, we want to play leading roles in the various championships in which we are entered, like our title on the Andros Trophy, of our performances at the European Championship of Rallycross in Supercar and Super1600 or our “one-shot” like the podium at Lohéac two years ago, explains Dominique Dubourg.

In 2016 we made the decision to have the DS3 RX DAR built for the European Rallycross Championship and after a difficult start and hard work from the whole team, we recorded an extremely promising level of performance from the car and encouraging for the future.

At the end of 2016, we had the opportunity to acquire two of the best cars in the discipline with the Peugeot 208 RX 2015 and with the objective of growing DA Racing, we could not let this opportunity slip away.

The arrival of the two Peugeot 208 RX 2015 at our premises allows us to prepare in the best conditions for our participation in one of the most publicized and complicated world championships in motorsport.

Today, it is very important for DA Racing to move to the next level by equipping itself with the best assets at all levels. We have just started the first part with the acquisition of the two Peugeots and will continue our approach by starting a recruitment phase at all levels, whether at the level of drivers, technical staff and management. »
