After the success of Frenchman Davy Jeanney at Estering in Germany, the Swede Timmy Hansen thought he had offered the Peugeot 208 Supercar a second consecutive victory at its home event in Höljes.
After fighting against pole sitter Andreas Bakkerud (Ford? Olsbergs MSE), Hansen saw the Audi S1 EKS RX of Mattias Ekström pass him at the exit of his joker lap in the last loop, but the Peugeot driver at the cost of a virile but effective maneuver in the last turn, will finally win in front of the Audi driver in DTM. Except that a few hours later, the commissioners finally demoted Hansen to second position following this maneuver. Ekström inherits the victory, he who won on his land last year.
The podium is completed by Andreas Bakkerud. Less success for Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3? SD RX). Qualified on the last row in the final, the world champion ultimately did not see the finish, after finishing in the sandbox.
