World RX – Ramona Karlsson ready to throw herself into Estering

Albatec Racing remains on a good performance in Lohéac (Brittany) since boss driver Andy Scott once again managed to reach the semi-finals. The Scottish team did not rest however as it immediately carried out a test session in Mayenne and Knockville (Scotland) where, despite the very difficult conditions (video), Ramona Karlsson was also able to prepare for the next round in Estering (Germany) held this weekend where she will replace Jacques Villeneuve.

Ramona Karlsson is preparing to discover the German circuit renowned for its complexity, with speeds reaching around 180km/h despite a short track. “It seems that the track is a bit like a special stage of rally and I hope that my experience in this discipline will help me”, declares the Swede from Kil. “I understood that the first corner was difficult and that a good start was important to still be in the game after the first corner. If I succeed, I will fight to reach the semi-finals even if I am aware that the competition will be tough. However, I feel confident for this weekend. Spending time with Albatec in Lohéac was a good idea and the two days in Mayenne and Knockville were very beneficial. I haven't been this motivated in a long time. »
