World RX – Sébastien Loeb stays the course in Germany

Winner of the first two qualifying rounds yesterday in Hockenheim, Sébastien Loeb had taken a substantial advantage in Germany.

The pilot of the Peugeot 208 WRX of Team Peugeot-Hansen remained at the forefront this Saturday, finishing second in Q3 behind Petter Solberg (Volkswagen Polo GTi – PSRX VW Sweden), and seventh in a fourth round won by Timmy's other 208 WRX Hansen.

The nine-time world champion maintains the advantage in the intermediate classification at the end of this second day, and leads in his wake his teammate Timmy Hansen and Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo GTi – PSRX VW Sweden).

Mattias Ekström (Audi S1 – EKS RX) follows in fourth position ahead of Petter Solberg, who got his weekend back on track after a difficult day yesterday, marked by a collision with Andreas Bakkkerud (Ford Focus RS RX – Hoonigan Racing Division).

The latter did not manage to move up enough in the hierarchy to reach the semi-finals, where his teammate Ken Block, however, will be present, 10th after the qualifying heats.

Neither Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Peugeot 208 – DA Racing), nor Guerlain Chicherit (Renault Clio) will not accompany Sébastien Loeb in the final stages.
