World RX – Timmy Hansen sets the pace at Hell

Le Team Peugeot -Hansen continues its infernal pace in the World Championship of Rallycross. On the Norwegian track of Hell, the Peugeot 208 RX of Timmy Hansen and Davy Jeanney took the lead after two qualifying rounds this Saturday afternoon.

Si Petter Solberg (Citroën DS3? SDRX) had made the best start by winning the first heat in front of his home crowd, the reigning World Champion suffered a puncture in Heat 2, after climbing a curb.

Winner of this second round, Timmy Hansen is in command of the intermediate classification with 92 points, two points ahead of Davy Jeanney, twice second today. Timur Timerzyanov (Ford Fiesta? Olsbergs MSE) moved up to third place ahead of the Volkswagen Polo of Johan Kristoffersson.

Anton Marklund (Audi S1? EKS RX) finished 5th ahead of the Ford Fiesta of Reinis Nitiss (Olsbergs MSE), defending champion in Norway, but who suffered a suspension problem in the first round.

The last two qualifying races, the semi-finals and the final will take place tomorrow.
