WorldRX – Watch out Ken Block is coming!

Ken Block is known throughout the world for his Gymkhana videos, a spectacular discipline where you must complete a defined course and perform certain figures such as the famous “donuts” around a fixed (or moving) point. Spent some time in WRC, with numerous off-road events, the American already registered in Global Rallycross in 2014 (he went on the roof during the first round in Barbados), will be one of the big attractions of the Norwegian round of WorldRX on June 14 and 15 at Hell, counting for the FIA ​​World Championship of Rallycross.

“I've loved racing rallycross over the last few years and have kept an eye on the European circuit as they have some really fun tracks, explains Block. I was also curious about the level of competition and I'm excited to see how I stack up against the WorldRX drivers. I'm particularly looking forward to competing against Petter Solberg, who is a good friend and very talented. I told him we were going to have a good time. »

To face the Citroën DS3 Supercar, and other Volkswagen Polo Supercars, Ken Block will enter his Ford Fiesta, revised and corrected compared to the 2013 version. “The car we will be using is an updated version of the Ford Fiesta ST RX43 that we debuted last year in America and is based on the car M-Sport WRC. It's a chassis I've driven a lot in so I would say I'm very comfortable in the car. We had a test day a few weeks ago and it went well, so the next time I'll be in the car will be during testing at Hell. »

The whimsical American will also be at Lohéac in France and Turkey later in the season.
