WorldRX – Dieter Depping with PSRX in Germany

For the penultimate round of the World RX championship in Buxtehude in Germany, the PSRX Volkswagen team will field a third car alongside Petter Solberg and Johann Kristoffersson. The Polo GTI Supercar will be driven by Dieter Depping, three-time German Rally Champion.

« When Sports Director Sven Smeets asked me if I was considering making my debut at Buxtehude, I didn't have to think long, says a 51-year-old German. I'm really looking forward to racing at Estering.

« I'm going to prepare well for the races and I'm already looking forward to arriving at the Estering. I want to thank Petter Solberg's team for taking me and my Polo under their wing. »

Starting in the 90s, Depping won the German Rally Championship title three times between 1992 and 1994 and was twice European vice-champion in 1994 and 1995. In 2001, he joined Volkswagen as test driver and took part in several races such as the Dakar or the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.
