WorldRX – Petter Solberg sets the pace in Argentina

Already crowned World Champion since the Italian event in Franciacorta, Norwegian Petter Solberg intends to conclude his 2014 World RX campaign with success on Argentinian soil, on the San Luis track. The driver of the Citroën DS3 Supercar immediately showed himself in the rhythm by winning the first round contested this Friday, before taking second place behind the Latvian Reinis Nitiss (Ford – Olsbergs MSE), second in the general this evening. The Finn Toomas Heikkinen (Volkswagen – Marklund Motorsport) took third place. The top 5 is completed by Andreas Bakkerud (Ford – Olsbergs MSE), who allows his team to perform very well in the Teams ranking, and Timmy Hansen (Peugeot 208).

For his return to competition, Liam Doran (Citroën DS3 – Monster Energy) ranks 11th while Manfred Stohl, lined up in the second DS3 of Petter Solberg's Team, enters the top 10 in ninth place.
