WorldRX – Towards a record plateau in Sweden

40 Supercars and almost 100 entered in all the categories present this weekend, the Höljes meeting in Sweden promises to be very competitive. The usual headliners are Reinis Nitiss, Petter Solberg, and Liam Doran, supported by the Frenchman Davy Jeanney within the Monster Energy Team, will obviously be there. The first city will want to consolidate its position as leader in the general classification and Petter Solberg will want to forget his disillusionment from last week in Finland where he was unable to take part in the final after a semi-final where he too damaged his Citroën DS3 WRX in contact with Liam Doran.

At Peugeot , same observation. The two drivers of the 208 WRXs from Kenneth Hansen's team will want to make up for it after complicated qualifying rounds at Kouvola, with Timmy Hansen even ending up in the embankment on the wet Finnish track. We will find Jacques Villeneuve on another 208 from Albatec Racing.

The Ford Fiestas from Olsbergs MSE will once again be the favorites with Nitiss of course, but also Andreas Bakkerud, 2nd in Finland and defending champion at Höljes. The year-round residents of Olsbergs will also be joined by local driver Sebastian Eriksson and Norwegian Daniel Holten, both regulars in the RX Lites category.
