Nasser Al-Attiyah (Mini) wins for the second consecutive time the Rally of Morocco and won the FIA World Cup for Rallies-Raid at an event at the end of the season, the Baja Portalegre 500 in Portugal contested from October 22 to 24.
After taking advantage of the abandonment of Carlos Sainz (Peugeot ) to take control of the race, the Qatari managed his lead by setting the seventh time of the Agadir Loop, the last stage of 237km, finishing 5'28 behind the scratch achieved by Giniel de Villiers (Toyota) who completed the special in 3h09'38.
Vladimir Vasilyev (Toyota) took advantage of the last day of competition to take second place, 16'45 behind the winner, half a minute ahead of Yazeed Al Rajhi (Toyota). Despite his best time in the fifth stage, Giniel de Villiers remains fourth in front Mikko Hirvonen (Mini).
Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot) set the 13th time of the stage but finished at the bottom of the ranking due to his penalty received during the first step.
