Dakar 2024 – GCK Motorsport’s hydrogen vehicle is revealed

A year after announcing its participation in the Dakar in 2023-2024 with a hydrogen vehicle, the French team GCK Motorsport has unveiled the first images of its e-Blast H2 2024 flocked with the number 36 of the French driver and President of Green Corp Konnection Guerlain Chicherit.

“These visuals mark an important step towards 2024 and demonstrate the speed at which our project is progressing to offer a greener future to the rally-raid. The innovations at the heart of the e-Blast H2 will play a driving role in the large-scale development of hydrogen technology led by the motorsport sector and the industry as a whole.”

“We at GCK are delighted to make our contribution to this immense building and I really look forward to being able to test this future vehicle which perfectly reflects the philosophy of our project combining green technology, performance and design,” he explained. The imposing chassis of the e-Blast was designed to accommodate a GCK fuel cell and hydrogen tanks. The design office and technical teams of Green Corp Konnection (GCK), parent company of GCK Motorsport, have been working for several months with 21 experts from FEV, a world leader in engineering, to design, develop and integrate this system Fuel cell. The prototype foreshadowing the first technological developments of the vehicle will be presented during the 2022 edition of the Dakar.
