Robin Larsson shines at “All-Star Magic Weekend”

Robin Larsson (Audi S1) was a cut above in the first round of the “All-Star Magic Weekend”, a non-championship event of RallyX Nordic held on the Höljes circuit (Sweden). The KYB Team JC driver finished in the first places in the three qualifying heats dominated by Niclas Grönholm (Hyundai i20) before winning his semi-final.

The local driver subsequently won in the final race by beating Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo) by 6 tenths at the finish. The double World RX champion who quickly passed through the joker lap preceded pole sitter Niclas Grönholm who completed the podium ahead of Oliver Solberg (DS 3), Thomas Bryntesson and Pontus Tidemand.

“It was a very good start with the new car. The Audi ran perfectly all day, confided Robin Larsson. I had a great start and just controlled my pace for the first few laps, riding carefully on the dirt which was very slippery. »

It was Simon Olofsson who won in Supercar Lites. Oskar Andersson won the CrossCar final while Alex Gustafsson won in the Junior category.
