Romain Dumas will not have improved his record time of 43″05 established yesterday during testing (the previous reference dating from 2013 with the Lola-Drayson B12 69/EV of Jonny Cocker in 47″34), but the driver of the Volkswagen IDR Pikes Peak won the Timed Shootout at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this Sunday afternoon in England.
The Gardois made a climb in 43″86, setting the best time, after having a big scare this morning, during the last runs before the decisive climb.
