Romuald Delaunay inherits victory on the Circuit des Ducs

Winner of three of the four qualifying rounds, Samuel Peu (Peugeot 208) scored the maximum points in the intermediate classification before winning his semi-final, a round like Romuald Delaunay (DS 3).

The two men found themselves on the first row of the starting grid for the final and were joined by Laurent Bouliou (Peugeot 208). After an eventful start with Laurent Bouliou in distress at the first braking, Romuald Delaunay came out in the lead just in front of Samuel Peu, stuck to the bumper of the DS 3.

Few found the space to move on to the next round. The 2019 French Champion mastered his subject to cross the finish line as the winner. A few minutes later, Peu was penalized by 5'' by the stewards and was content with second place ahead of Romuald Delaunay who inherited the victory, his second of the season. Third, Emmanuel Anne (Peugeot 208) enjoyed his first podium in the premier category. David Fèvre (Peugeot 208) and Philippe Maloigne (Renault Clio 4) completed the Top 5.

Both winners of two qualifying heats and their respective semi-finals, Jimmy Terpereau (C2) and Anthony Paillardon (Skoda Fabia) found themselves on the first row of the final. Author of the best takeoff after a red flag, Terpereau imposed a sustained pace, but Paillardon remained in contact. The leader made no mistake to sign his first victory of the season. Dylan Dufas (Twingo 2 Super1600) joined Terpereau and Paillardon on the podium. Nicolas Eouzan (Twingo 2 Super1600) finished just outside the Top 3 ahead of Jérémy Lambec (Skoda Fabia).

In Junior, Tom Le Jossec (Clio 5 RSR RX) confirmed his good form over the weekend and resisted pressure from David Bouet (Clio 5 RSR RX), the Championship leader, to claim his first victory in motorsport . Arthur Le Boudouil (Clio 5 RSR RX) took third place ahead of Baptiste Pannissié (Clio 5 RSR RX) and Baptiste Menez (Clio 5 RSR RX).

Alerted by mechanical problems in the semi-final, Camille Barbe (Twingo R1 RX) did not miss her start in the final and led for the seven laps before climbing to the top of the podium for the second time. Amélie Moliexe (Twingo R1 RX), “rookie” in the discipline, took a new podium ahead of Coraline Hautbois (Twingo R1 RX).

On home soil and favorite of Division 3, Benoît Morel (Ford Fiesta) won the intermediate classification before paying the price for a turbulent start in the semi-final. Anthony Pelfrene (Renault Clio) seized his chance to win for the first time in Rallycross ahead of Nicolas Bezard (Peugeot 208) and Cyril Coué (VW Polo).

Sébastien Le Ferrand (Peugeot 208) confirmed his good feelings during qualifying and the first part of the elimination phases to take control of the Division 4 final. Le Ferrand won for the first time this season ahead of Anthony Mauduit (Renault Clio ), leader of the Coupe de France. Romain Barré (Peugeot 208) ranked third ahead of Christophe Barbier (DS 3) and Yann Le Lay (Peugeot 206).
