Sainz joins Team X-Raid for the 2019 Dakar

Carlos Sainz will continue to evolve Rally-Raid by joining Team X-Raid for the next edition of the Dakar which will be contested from January 6 to 17 in Peru. If the news has not yet been confirmed, a tweet from the Spanish Mini account announced the arrival of the Iberian driver and his co-driver Lucas Cruz at the wheel of a Mini Buggy that he recently tested.

The double winner of the most famous event in the discipline should thus reunite with his former teammates at Peugeot Sport Stéphane Peterhansel and Cyril Desprès who all had to find a wheel after the program was abandoned by the Sochaux manufacturer.

The double champion of WRC will also find Nani Roma who will complete the formation of Team X-Raid, always faithful to the Mini brand.
