Schatz returns to Saint Gouëno

Deprived of his Lola at La Pommeraie due to an engine problem, Nicolas Schatz celebrated the reunion with his faithful horse in the most beautiful way.
On a course made tricky by the rain, the defending champion gave the competition no chance in imposing itself in the three climbs of the Breton event of Saint-Gouëno.

Winner a week earlier at La Pommeraie, Sébastien Petit (Lola B06-51) was never able to worry the championship leader.

Still undefeated in sport-proto, Cyrille Frantz climbs to 3rd in the general ranking with his Osella PA 27.
