In accordance with what the CEO of Stard indicated before Christmas, the Austrian team will develop a new car for the coming season. Two copies are provided on each sleeve. The first shuttlecock was won by Janis Baumanis. The Latvian, ninth overall in 2018, sees this contract extension as " an honor ".

“The last two years have been difficult because we have fought against teams supported by manufacturers, specifies the 1600 European Super 2015 champion. I see a great opportunity to achieve great results in 2019.” Indeed, the withdrawal of Peugeot , EKS or PSRX will leave more room for private teams.

Owner of the structure, Manfred Stohl knows that the shooting window is ideal. “We want to take another step forward in 2019, especially knowing that seven of the eight drivers ranked ahead of Janis will not be supported by factory teams », explains the former pilot of WRC.
