Timmy Hansen returns for the 2021 season

A few days after his brother Kevin, Timmy Hansen has been confirmed within the Team Hansen family structure for the 2021 World Championship season. rallycross. Father Kenneth therefore preferred continuity rather than renewal.

« I am very grateful to have the opportunity to come back and race again this year, confided the 2019 world champion. I love rallycross, it has always been part of my life and it is still dear to me today.

Even though this is my 8th season in World RX, I am more motivated than ever to write a new story: are we going to fight for the title, who will be the fastest, how are we going to do it? We have worked a lot and the car is much better now than in 2020.

All the good ideas and talented people working with us have made the difference, we are progressing little by little. We could have a good chance to challenge for the title this year ».

Crowned in 2019 and defeated by Johan Kristoffersson in 2020, Timmy Hansen is setting out to conquer a new world title. To achieve this, the Swede intends to rely on his Peugeot 208 WRX which seems to have taken a step forward compared to last season according to him.

The 2021 World RX season is scheduled to begin in Barcelona from July 23-24.
