Villeneuve: “Find my way”

Jacques Villeneuve, who made his debut in Andros Trophy, enjoyed his first laps in the discipline. The Canadian made the trip to Andorra for the second round of the competition, not planned in his initial program.

If he is a former World Champion of Formula 1, Jacques Villeneuve arrived in the Andros Trophy with great humility and recognizes that he still needs to be careful before wanting to be competitive.

" You need to learn. All the beginners got the hang of it quickly, but after that, it takes a while to get through it. Then trust comes in. Putting yourself into reverse at the stop, when entering a turn, it's done. But half the time, it's too early or too late, or you hit the wall. If you end up in the wall, you don't learn because you only do two turns and you go back to the pits. Then, it?s not just your car, you share it with someone who titles it. I don't want to break it! »

However, after a first contact, the Canadian thinks he will push him more and more in order to find his limit. ?My goal is to attack and see how it goes. I'll have to figure out what my style is. Whether it's Alain (Cheers), Olivier (Panis) or Franck (Lagorce), everyone told me a lot of different things. It's up to me to combine and find my way. »
