World RX – Jean-Baptiste Dubourg draws on his experience in Lohéac

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg is preparing to compete in his national round of the World RX in Lohéac (Ille-et-Vilaine) on September 5 and 6 at the wheel of his Citroën C4 Supercar. The DA Racing driver who is competing in the European Championship this season Rallycross (where he occupies 4th place) has already participated in two events on the world calendar this year, taking 13th place in Montalegre (Portugal) in April and 18th position in Höljes (Sweden) in July.

“In Lohéac, I will have the advantage of knowing the track, I will immediately be in the bath and thus fine-tune the small details in the settings. Unlike my previous participations where my priority was the French Championship, this year I am in the rhythm of the World RX and I am used to all the obligations required for races of this level”, announced the 2013 French S1600 champion.

Jean-Baptiste Dubourg is aiming for a better result than that obtained last year, even if the World RX peloton has been further strengthened, notably with the increase in performance of the Team Peugeot -Hansen. “ In 2014, my weekend ended at the gates of the semi-finals, not without regrets. This year, the level has evolved considerably and places in the semi-finals are very popular. However, anything can happen in rallycross and I know that the performance of the car and the DA Racing technical staff can allow us to be among the top 12 after the qualifying rounds », added the DA Racing driver.

André Dubourg will also be present as part of the S1600 European Championship on a Renault Clio 2.
