World RX – Petter Solberg puts his title back on the line

Petter Solberg turns the page on an excellent 2014 season since he won his second world title at the end of the first season of World RX, eleven years after his first success in WRC. The Norwegian dominated the peloton Rallycross world at the wheel of his Citroën DS3 RX prepared by his own structure with five victories and nine podiums in 12 events, as well as 24 rounds won out of the 72 on the program.

After such a start, Petter Solberg does not intend to stop there. « My main goal in 2015 is to defend my World RX title », confirmed the Scandinavian on its official website. “It is clear that it will be difficult to repeat this feat in 2015, but we have developed a good plan to achieve it. Petter Solberg also plans to diversify his program. His recent return to business could allow him to raise the budget to participate in other events. “I also have in mind compete in a few rounds of the WRC if an interesting offer arises.
