World RX – Timmy Hansen dominates at Lohéac

The French meeting of World Championship Rallycross smiles for the moment at the Franco-Swedish association Team Peugeot -Hansen. The Peugeot 208 Supercar Timmy hansen flew over the debates this Saturday on Breton soil at Lohéac with two victories during the two qualifying rounds contested.

Twice, Hansen was faster than the reigning World Champion Petter Solberg (DS3? SDRX), and is at the top of the intermediate classification this evening ahead of Solberg and Mattias Ekström (Audi S1? EKS RX). A little further behind than during the last outings in World RX, Davy Jeanney (Peugeot 208? Team Peugeot-Hansen) ranks 6th and first French driver, ahead of Jean-Baptiste Dubourg 8th and Gaëtan Sérazin 10th.

After a good start during H1, Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Peugeot 208 – Albatec) fell back in the hierarchy to 17th position after a puncture during H2, ahead of Jonathan Pailler. Guerlain Chicherit, driving the JRM Mini RX, and Yvan Muller, driving a Peugeot 208 from Albatec Racing and who lost time in contact with Toomas Heikkinen in the second heat, finished the day in 20th and 22nd places. , just ahead of Hervé Knapick and Marc Laboulle.

Note the engine problems for Guy Wilks (Mini? JRM) who did not take part in any heat, and the turbo problems for François Duval who was only able to participate in the second qualifying event.
