World RX – Vitaly Petrov testing with Albatec
Passed by the F1, within Renault and Caterham, then by DTM with Mercedes, Vitaly Petrov has been relatively discreet in recent times, but could well return to the forefront via the World Championship of Rallycross.
Present last weekend in the Franciacorta paddock in Italy, the 31-year-old Russian spent time at Albatec Racing, before being able to test a Peugeot 208 Supercar of the British team last Monday.
“It was my first time at a World RX event, confides Petrov on the discipline’s website. It's fun, and the races are very competitive. We started discussing next season with different teams. It was my first time driving this type of car which has a lot of power. It was very interesting to drive. »
