WorldRX – Davy Jeanney lined up in Sweden

At the start of the season of the new World Championship Rallycross, the Frenchman Davy Jeanney, 2013 European vice-champion and 2010 French champion, admitted that the World Cup had become his objective, even if he had not been able to find a sufficient budget for a full-time driver. After replacing Canadian Jacques Villeneuve during the Lydden Hill round in England with the Albatec Racing team, the 28-year-old driver will compete for the Monster Energy WorldRX Team this weekend in Sweden on the Höljes track.

The Frenchman will team up with Liam Doran in the second Citroën DS3 WRX entered by the team. He will try to do better than during the Lydden Hill round where he was unable to be among the contenders for victory. Last year, Jeanney, at the wheel of his Citroën C4, dominated the first day in Sweden before encountering mechanical problems on Sunday and being eliminated in the semi-final.
