It was not until 1986 that Laurence Pearce resurrected the brand founded by Brian Lister, thirty-two years earlier. Although he was initially content to modify Jaguar XJS in small series, Pearce had the ambition of becoming a car manufacturer. This was achieved in 1993 with the unveiling of its first homologated road car, the Lister Storm.
