The 2021 season of events organized by Peter Auto ends under the Portuguese sun of Estoril for the second year in a row. The Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva (named after the entrepreneur who built the track in 1972) is expecting more than 270 cars this Saturday October 9 and Sunday October 10.

All major disciplines will be represented. Eight fields led by Patrick Peter made the trip: CER 1 and 2 (protos and GTs from the 60s and 70s), Group C, Heritage Touring Cup, The Greatest's Trophy (sports cars from the 50s), 2.0 L Cup (reserved to Porsche 911 2.0 Liters), Endurance Racing Legends (protos and GTs from the 90s and 2000s) and Sixties' Endurance. To this is added exceptionally the F1 with single-seaters from 1971 to 1983.

Not to be missed: Zak Brown and Martin Brundle united in Group C Racing. The Executive Director of Mclaren racing does not accompany Lando Norris et Daniel Ricciardo in Istanbul for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, but dons the costume of a gentleman driver in Portugal.

Owner of an exceptional collection of vehicles, the 49-year-old Californian sent near Lisbon a 10 Jaguar XJR-1990 cared for by another of his teams, United Autosports. As for Martin Brundle, if he was the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990 with the XJR-12 version, the current F1 commentator for Sky Sports won the 24 Hours of Daytona with an XJR-9 version in 1988.

The businessman and the former driver will also share the wheel of a Ford Capri RS 3100 in the Heritage Touring Cup.
