Le Auto Tour 2024 delivered its verdict on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean this Saturday, April 28. In the streets of Biarritz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), after more than 2 km of roads across France from Paris, it was a Jaguar Type-E which won.

The British coupe entrusted to Emmanuel Brigand and Yann Albert was the fastest during the special stages and passages on four well-known circuits in France (Bugatti du Mans, Val de Vienne, Nogaro and Pau-Arnos). If this is the first victory for Emmanuel Brigand, Jaguar is accustomed to success in the historic competition organized by Peter Auto since 1992. The Coventry firm records its fifth triumph there, and its second in a row.

Emmanuel Brigand adds a nice line to his list of achievements, coming off a Classic victory Endurance Racing 2 in 2023 in the Series by Peter Auto as well as a national title in the Historic Tour also in 2023.

Second place went to Patrick and Alexandre Bonnardel, also aboard a Jaguar E-Type. The podium is completed by the American Frederic Wakeman and the Briton Patrick Blakeney-Edwards, specialists in the Shelby Cobra 289.
