Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​– What drivers and cars are on the program?

There are going to be some great people and some great cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​this year. As per usual, the classic english gathering offers us a very busy and varied program with the participation of many motorsport personalities.

But the stars, as our English friends say, will also be machines. At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the cars that have marked the history of automobiles and motorsport will be the main entertainers of the 29e edition of the festival across the Channel.

From F1 to legends, the drivers are there

An unmissable annual event, the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​will welcome big names again this year. On site, spectators will be able to see Nigel Mansell on the occasion of the 30e anniversary of his world champion title F1 but also Jackie Stewart, Mikka Häkkinen, Damon Hill and Jenson Button.

At Goodwood, other former drivers such as Mark Webber, Ricardo Patrese, Rene Arnoux, Jacky Ickx, Tom Kristensen, Derek Bell and even Henri Pescarolo will perform.

As for the current generation, Guanyu-Zhou and George Russell, respectively pilots ofAlfa Romeo et Mercedes in F1, were present for this 29e edition.

Exceptional cars at Goodwood

Besides the drivers, the cars are also the attraction of the now traditional Goodwood Festival of Speed. This year, the field will once again be filled with the participation of different iconic models.

From Formula 1 toEndurance going through the last century, the driving schedule is busy. At Goodwood, fans will be able to see the W12 used by Mercedes in F1 in 2020 but also old ones like the McLaren MP4/5 and MP4-25, the Renault RS10 by René Arnoux and Jean-Pierre Jabouille or the Jordan 191 with which Michael Schumacher made its big debut in 1991.

On the Endurance side, in addition to the revelation of the livery of the Porsche LMDh, the Mercedes Sauber C9 will perform just like various Jaguars from the famous Group C.
