Las Vegas, the unloved

History is a perpetual new beginning, a truth expressed by the Greek philosopher Thucydides which is verified in the links mixing Formula 1 in Las Vegas. Long before Liberty Media which put the destination on the 2023 calendar, Bernie Ecclestone, the boss of F1 at the time, had already achieved such a goal at the turn of the 1980s. By wishing to strengthen its presence in Uncle Sam's country, the iconic F1 Boss had initially considered another option. And this, before definitively sweeping away the aging Watkins Glen track, lost in the State of New York by an innovative idea: riding in the heart of Sin City, the city of sin, in order to attract more revenue and increase the reputation of your business.
