Who said that classic car racing was reserved for gentlemen drivers and other Sunday drivers? Certainly not the Duke of Richmond, who since 1998 has reserved his 3,809 km circuit for a weekend of wild events in the form of the Goodwood Revival. Every year, on the third weekend of September, the enclosure located near Chichester, in West Sussex in England, offers a journey back in time. Spectators are accepted provided they dress in the fashion of the 50s and 60s, and the same goes for the cars entered. Nothing must exceed the year 1966, date of the last professional race held at Goodwood. If machines from after this date can set foot on the tarmac, it is only as a display, without a competitive aspect. Only modern medical cars betray this theatrical side.
