The names of the four drivers making up the crew aboard the new AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 have been released.

24 Hours of Daytona: Ferrari drivers revealed

The 24 Hours of Daytona are approaching (January 28-29), and the team Ferrari revealed its brand new car… and its four GTD drivers. There Ferrari 296 GT3 aligned by AF Corse will wear the number 21 during the 61st edition of the raceEndurance which opens the 2023 championship IMSA.

And behind the wheel, the nominees are as follows. The first: Simon Mann, three-time winner of the Italian GT championship in Pro-Am and 2022 vice-champion of the Michelin Endurance Cup, just like his second teammate Luis Perez-Companion.

The 51-year-old Argentinian and the 21-year-old American will be accompanied by the 2021 European champion Le Mans Series Miguel Molina, official Ferrari driver in Competizioni GT. Italian Francesco Castellacci, 3 FIA GT2011 champion and FIA World Endurance driver, completes the Prancing Horse quartet.

This crew is one of the sixty teams entered out of the 70 registrations. In the GTD category, the Ferrari 296 GT3 will make its debut alongside two other cars, the Porsche 911 GT3 R and the Lamborghini Huracan.

In total, seven different manufacturers will compete with Ferrari: Aston Martin, Corvette, Mercedes-AMG, Lamborghini, Lexus and Porsche. Join us on January 28 and 29 to see them compete on the track at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
