Second change in two days in the entry list of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023. After the replacement of Jacques Villeneuve by Tristan Vautier at Vanwall, it is François Hériau who must leave his place with Graff Racing in LM P2 Pro-Am. The French driver was forced to withdraw for medical reasons which did not allow him to compete in the race in complete safety.

He will be replaced in the Oreca 07 in French colors by Roberto Lacorte. The 54-year-old Italian has solid experience in the Le Mans classic with 5 participations to his credit (2017-2021), including 4 in LM P2. This season, he competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring in the Ferrari 296 GT3 of Cetilar Racing.

« I am disappointed not to share this edition with François, he was at the heart of this project, declares Pascal Rauturier, Team Manager of Graff Racing. It's only a postponement... Roberto will therefore replace François, he is very motivated, his experience and will be a major asset. We still have a great line up of drivers to play the leading roles in our LMP2 Pro-Am category, and we are all looking forward to returning to the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit in a few days. »

« I am very happy and impatient to have this opportunity to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a prototype, what's more with two very good drivers like Giedo van der Garde and Patrick Pilet and with such an experienced team, adds Roberto Lacorte. As the Bronze driver of the crew, I will give my best with a team that has all the elements to do well. »
