ELMS – Tincknell places Jota Sport on pole at Red Bull Ring

Harry Tincknell was the fastest in qualifying for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring in Spielberg (Austria) at the wheel of the Zytek-Nissan with which he achieved a time of 1’23”078. The Jota Sport driver who won in LMP2 last year 24 Hours of Le Mans was ahead of the Oreca 03-Judd of Race Performance driven by Franck Mailleux by almost half a second, while the Ligier JSP2 of Thiriet by TDS Racing entrusted to Tristan Gommendy follows in third place ahead of the Morgan-Judd of Newblood by Morand Racing led by Christian Klien. L'Alpine A450b driven by Nelson Panciatici is only fifth on the grid, seven tenths behind.

Jan Magnussen was responsible for setting the GTC benchmark time with a lap completed in 1'30"647 in the Formula Racing Ferrari.

The race will be contested from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. and will be followed live on Motors TV.
