Miyata – Fluxa – Jakobsen, the youth in power in Barcelona

COOL Racing clearly dominated the opening event of the 2024 season with a trio of hopefuls. By imposing themselves with authority in Catalonia, Lorenzo Fluxá, Ritomo Miyata and Malthe Jakobsen pose themselves as candidates for the continental title.

Renowned for being a breeding ground for young talents, the team of Nicolas lapierre confirmed this status by triumphing in Catalonia with a crew whose average age is… 21 years old! The trident formed by Lorenzo Fluxá (19 years old), Malthe Jakobsen (20 years old) and Ritomo Miyata (24 years old) did not, however, surprise anyone in Barcelona as their speed is renowned. Two of them already play reserve roles with manufacturers involved in the Hypercar category of the World Championship.Endurance, namely Jakobsen at Peugeot and Miyata at Toyota.
