Already selected within SMP Racing to replace Jenson Button, retained in Super GT, on the BR1 n°11 at 1000 miles of Sebring en WEC, Brendon Hartley will also be taking part in the 12 Hours of Sebring in IMSA, this same weekend of March 15 to 17.
The New Zealander, not selected by Toro Rosso en F1 this season, will evolve on the Cadillac DPi-VR n°5 – Action Express Racing, replacing Christian Fittipaldi. Hartley will support Joao Barbosa and Filipe Albuquerque, for what will be his second participation in the Florida event after 2017 (with ESM).
Action Express will also field a second Cadillac DPi-VR for the trio Pipo Derani – Felipe Nasr – Eric Curran.
