VIDEO – The Ferrari 499P Hypercar demonstrated at Imola

Great first for the Ferrari 499P. The day after its presentation to everyone at the Finali Mondiali gala in Imola, the new Prancing Horse Hypercar was publicly displayed on the track for the first time. The magnificent mount decked out in red and yellow performed a demonstration lap in front of an admiring audience at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. At the wheel, Alessandro Pier Guidi, who should take part in the Hypercar adventure in WEC with the Italian brand.
The Italian firm has thus confirmed its commitment to the next World Championship ofEndurance FIA as well as the Centenary of 24 Hours of Le Mans with this LMH called 499P. The name is a derivative of the unit displacement of the engine, coupled with the initial of prototype, a combination frequently used by the brand in its distant past in the discipline. Two examples of the Ferrari 499P will appear at Sebring (United States) on March 11 and 12, 2023 for the Prologue of the WEC season before the official competition debut on March 17 for the 1000 Miles.
Just behind the Hypercar 499P, the all-new Ferrari 296 GT3 also paraded on the Imola circuit, with Alessio Rovera on board.
