1000 Miles of Sebring – EL1: Glickenhaus in front Alpine and Toyota

While the LM P2s had dominated the prologue, the Hypercars regained possession of the top places in the standings during the first Free Practice session of the 1000 Miles of Sebring. Mais si on pouvait attendre un regain de rythme du côté de Toyota, le constructeur japonais n’a pas fait mieux qu’une troisième place avec la nº8 de Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa. It was in fact the CSG 007 LMH of Glickenhaus (Ryan Briscoe, Romain Dumas, Olivier Pla) which set the best time in 1:49.738 ahead of theAlpine A480 (Andre Black, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere). 

In LM P2, we find the same teams as in the Prologue with the Realteam by WRT (Rui Andrade, Ferdinand Habsburgm Norman Nato) at the top of the timesheet in 1:50.477, even ahead of the No. 7 Toyota in the general classification. Prema (Lorenzo Colombo, Louis Delétraz, Robert Kubica) and the #23 United Autosports USA completed the LM P2 podium (Paul di Resta, Oliver Jarvis, Joshua Pierson).

The Porsche confirment leur domination dans les catégories de Grand Tourisme avec la nº92 de Kevin Estre et Michael Christensen en GTE Pro et la nº46 du Team Project 1 (Matteo Cairoli, Mikkel Pedersen, Nicolas Leutwiler) en GTE Am.
